I think the advantage Rachel Zoe has in launching her designer carreer comes down to her experience as a stylist. A stylist usually has a more direct understanding with the demands of the market. They are constantly more aware of the changes and the desires of the costumer. She definitely found a good designing team to help her bring her ideas to live. This collection feels basic but yet has so much personality. The styling brings the collection together. I loved her collection from head to toe. All the pieces are completely wearable, and I think in a time of economical difficulties designers have to keep in mind people want to buy things that are more wearable than just one time deals, unless you are a gown or couture designer.
